This offensive lineman from Georgia stopped by UNC en route to an unofficial visit to Virginia Tech on Friday. Is it still a battle between the Tar Heels and South Carolina?

One game day at each school will show you the difference in schools. Play in front of 30,000 to 40,00 if lucky or play in front of 70,000 to 80,000 fans. If he feels the acc is a better fit it's probably best he goes that route. To play in the SEC and play early you have to have the want to. I think the coaches at USC will do there best if he comes great if not life will go on. Win with us or will win with out ya

The wine & cheese crowd need to be careful...cheating is a way of life there recently...even the best teams they could buy wern't very good!

its on SC front page. I barely knew there was a NC board... last I saw a tarheel play a sport outside they ere being creamed by clem again. #dislike. handle them first Im only into football and baseball.. Back 2 Back for the Garnet and Black

Almost thought for a minute there they forgot about the whole impermissable benefits their football team got with the hotel rooms. Dang am I wrong? That didn't happen?

the Lamecock's become somewhat relivent for the first time in over 100 years of playing football and you would think that they are one of the top 3 programs in the nation. But i must say its impressive that you can count your bowl wins on one hand, not many schools can say that!!!
I love all this love for the baseball program they have as well. When i moved to SC 4 years ago, I work with 3 SC alumni, I didnt hear a word about gamecock baseball. Now its all they talk about.
Your football program got over 50k in benifits..... UNC's program got over 27k.... Need help doing that math?

Probably not beating my chest as you would say. Would I make a mention of it, yea maybe about as much as I did about our mens soccer team winning the Natty just this past season. But to me and to most folks there are two sports that when you win a natty in you beat your chest about and thats Football and Basketball.
The lame comments were all about the lame history, untill recent, of gamecock football. Sorry to post the truth. HEELamaniac 51 - your absolutely right . this kid will go to the best school for him !! his choices will be determined by many factors , the fact that a school is ACC or SEC .plays only a small part in his decision . and thats a fact .
