Per JC Shurburtt:
Right now, Top247 quarterback Jacob Park (Goose Creek, S.C./Stratford) should be classified as a Virginia Tech commitment. Park has a longstanding relationship with new Hokies offensive coordinator Scot Loeffler and also has ties to Blacksburg and the program. Alabama’s offer to Park caused him to back off of a commitment fast track, but the Tide also has offered Top247 quarterback David Cornwell (Norman, Okla./North) and Top247 quarterback Tyler Harris (Blackshear, Ga./Pierce County) with the idea that all three need to come to summer camp in order to commit to Alabama.
So while the Tide’s offer to Park is indeed significant, the feeling is that if Virginia Tech and Loeffler can make enough of an impression during his visits this spring or before then, that he will be a Hokie.
There is plenty to like about Park, the nation’s No. 8 pro-style quarterback prospect according to 247Sports. He’s 6-foot-3, 202 pounds, has a rifle for an arm, is an accurate passer and is a good athlete that can gain yards with his feet. Bringing in this level of talent at the quarterback position one cycle after signing Bucky Hodges and Carlis Parker would give Virginia Tech a great deal of quality depth at the position.

Yep.
Barden's legit, guys. Paul has mentioned him a few times as a guy that Blake Anderson really likes. My understanding is that he'll be visiting soon for a spring practice. Blake also saw him throw earlier in the spring eval period.
