Former players respond with frustration

  • Can't say I disagree with him.... the state of Alabama in particular is rather agregous in their bankrolling of players....plus there is some form of cheating going on across the conference as well.

    However, you might be carefull who you point the finger at, because a different sport on UNC campus is just as protected as the ones he's crying wolf about with regrards to football in the SEC.

    In fact doubt anyone even reads this article or pays attention to his quotes....because of what season it is... and what's about to start this week. UNC simply doesn't care .... unless the ball doesn't bounce on a wooden court.

    If you are insinuating with your finger pointing comment that UNC has any kind of special arrangements for basketball, you could not be more wrong. I know for a fact that ancillary figures i.e., handlers and prospective financial advisors, heavily involved with some recruits have prevented us from recruiting them. I actually find it interesting to see what schools are willing to take that on and it is not a surprise where they usually land.

    Not sure what your allegiance or interest level in UNC is but, if you are trolling, you can keep it moving back the Tennessee board.
