mr. woodson...i was told by an sec insider that the sec would take 4 teams from the acc to get north carolina. that would be north carolina and 3 of the following...duke, ncs, vt, or virginia. there is alot of info out there from people who don't know what they are talking about. i hope the acc survives, but you're crazy if you don't think slive is going to give carolina his best shot. in the end north carolina will not turn her back on her southern heritage and play football in a yankee conference. the sec can go to 20 teams too if it wants to. from my understanding fsu might be back on the table.
There is absolutely only one option of leaving the acc and that's the sec period! If Carolina ever wants to be a national football powerhouse it's the only chance they have can be done in the acc but will be hard!
Unfortunately therein lies our problem at UNC, those making the decision don't care about our southern roots as almost none of them are from the south. Most of them are from the northeast/Midwest. Our AD, outgoing chancellor, and a few others are pushing SEC, but they have some work left to do.
The tone on this board is so obvious. I feel like I stepped into a time machine. Wow!!!
