With Notre Dame playing five ACC games per season, also the addition of Louisville. Will UNC leave the ACC for the B1G? Me personally I don't see it, but these days you never know. I see the ACC making steps to upgrade the conference overall. I think the final phase is to vote out Wake Forest and get Cincy. I feel it's enough Carolina school as is. I'm sure Wake, will find a home some where. As a cane's fan, I don't want to see UNC leave at all. Our Bball team is up in coming, and it would be nice yr in yr out to play UNC. WHAT ARE THOUGHTS ON IF CINCY WOULD JOIN???

Yeah, no need to use the existing thread that's already 5 pages long......(longest ever on this board to my knowledge)
today. Hearing any rumblings in Chapel Hill? I understand theyve been in talks for a while now with the official offer coming today. Sounds
Just say no end of story! Unc should not leave unless its SEC or maybe for the other Big which since im from texas is more relevant than the one we are talking about! A northern conference just doesn't make since for unc! Strictly looking athletic wise! Go Heels!
Whether UNC leaves the ACC at all, or where they go, it wouldn't in any way open any kind of door for Wake Forest to join the BIG....In fact, IF the ACC were to dissolve and some of your teams went to the BIG and some to the SEC, Wake would be left with Duke, Syracuse, Pitt to join the Big East. Neither the BIG or SEC want Duke either, they bring nothing to the table audience wise to the BIG and the SEC really doesn't want more than one school from any expansion state, a reason why they won't take Clemson, FSU or GaTech as they already have schools in those states and don't want to dilute the product.
We would love to get you guys and Va. Tech, shut the door at 16 schools for a decade until the Big 12's Grant of Rights is up and see if Oklahoma is frisky (Most in the SEC feel that Mizzou's heart is with the BIG, and if the BIG offered Kansas, Mizzou would likely jump, opening a spot. All this would be at least 10 years from now, though).
Everybody except the SEC office, UF, USC, and UGA would love to see Florida State and Clemson in the SEC because of the perfect cultural fit, but we lost hope in that a while ago. I have not read or heard of one SEC person that would not love to invite UNC. The only downside is the rest of us can't keep picking off your best in-state football recruits! I think you guys would experience a Texas A&M effect if you have the right coach in place.
Land The Plane
South florida is a football hotbed, Al Golden jus' gotta get put in extra work to keep the players here. Also James Cooley was a A+ get from FSU
