Why is LSU recruiting NC this year, but hasn't in the past? Definitely don't need them in our backyard!

Because there are high-major talent in N.C. and big time schools go where the talent is.

According to the LSU scout article, LSU is at the top for Mitch at the moment.

What do you think this does to our chances of seeing Mitch in Tar Heel Blue?
On a sidenote, how huge would it be for the NC Dream Team if Mitch commited to UNC over LSU and Alabama. That would be a BIG recruiting victory in more ways than one.

IMO if he doesn't go SEC it will be to UNC. And yes, now that he's picking up legit SEC offers, him picking the Tar Heels would certainly be perceived as a recruiting win.
