I was gonna go there tommy but I figured I'd let them have this one. They are currently better than we are so we will go with that for now. All will be proven in August when we will be the clear underdogs. I can't wait though. Playing teams like Scar will only make us better. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'd rather lose to the cocks than beat Elon by 60. As a team on the rise we need quality opponents and Scar is just that. Bring it on cocks! And may the team in the better looking uniforms(us) win!

I've never understood why South Carolina and North Carolina don't play each other in every sport every year. It's a natural rivalry and one I would enjoy given the number of Chapel Hill fans I know.
Alas, I don't expect too much of a game next season. The crowd at WB has been waiting five years for the tarheels to come to Columbia, and it's going to be rabid at kickoff. This is going to be Georgia game all over again IMO.

South Carolina fans sure do have an inflated view of themselves.
You have virtually no history of being a relevant program before Spurrier rolled into town.
Exhibit A: 51% win percentage (566 wins all-time) Exhibit B: 6-12 bowl game record Exhibit C: 1 conference title (ACC 1969) and only 1 division title (2010) Exhibit D: 15 consensus AA's Exhibit E: 23 current NFL players
UNC, by comparison:
Exhibit A: 57% win percentage all-time (607 wins) Exhibit B: 13-16 bowl game record Exhibit C: 9 conference titles Exhibit D: 14 consensus AA's Exhibit E: 27 current NFL players
Last 5 years record:
South Carolina - 45-21 overall North Carolina - 39-25 overall
Aside from the last 3 years you all have been terribly irrelevant.
Get off that high horse, man...
I also don't have time to teach you how to speak hobo.

I think a rotating series in baseball would be awesome. Didn't you guys upgrade your facility not long back? We built our new stadium and it's amazing. Theyr'e building a new AAA stadium in downtown Charlotte. I think a home/home/neutral baseball series would be great. You could play a three game set in Columbia/Chapel Hill followed by a series in Charlotte over consecutive years or do the format we do with Clemson. We play one game at our place, one at their place and one neutral site game over one weekend. Pretty neat format. No reason we couldn't play game one in Columia, game two in Charlotte and game three Chapel Hill, or start in Chapel Hill and go the other way.

I have been to the Bosh since the redo and it is a excellent baseball facility. I am a fan of both the football and baseball programs working out a rotation for both schools to match up on a regular basis. It would be easier to work this out from a football perspective imo. Plus, I don't know the relationship that Fox and Holbrook have today on the baseball side. I have a question GoingHeels ? You guys have the baseball stadium and a great coach that has built a top notch program, why is their not more fan support for baseball in Chapel Hill ? No flame, just wondering as it seems like all the pieces of the puzzle needed are there in place.

I understand why UNC wouldn't want to give us a basketball game, as that would simply be charity (and largely non-competitive perhaps). But, it stands to reason that everyone would benefit from football and baseball. And I just can't get over the simple geographical inevitability that is being ignored. I can't imagine that other neighboring states don't have huge rivalries from the flagship, namesake universities (i.e. Florida-Georgia, Mich.-Ohio State, Texas-Oklahoma). It's a guaranteed marquee game (at least regionally, which is where we both recruit).
Oh well. I'll enjoy this one in 2013.
