For the record, here was what I submitted to Keith for my vote:

You can take your pick; UNC intends to play at least eight newcomers on a talent-depleted defense, and Gio Bernard’s departure to the NFL opens the door for dynamic running back T.J. Logan. But the nod here goes to Mallard Creek (N.C.) cornerback Brian Walker. Walker arguably doesn’t even have the highest ceiling among commitments at his position. But he comes equipped with superlative coverage skills and could step in to challenge for the field corner spot instantly in a defensive backfield void of true cover guys who can also turn and run against any substantive measure of speed.
