Will Grier is one TD shy of his sophomore tally.

'14 in-state QB target Will Grier took in his first UNC game Saturday, and the four-star prospect found certain elements to be better than anticipated.

Grier would be a perfect pick up to get this 2014 class rolling. Sounds like he likes UF better for sec and ranking reasons but likes our team, staff, and school better

Wasn't sure which one I'd put I should put this in but I'll go ahead and ask it here, if the Gillins and Grier called the staff to make a commitment who do you think they would take, either one a higher priortiy? I could see them both having their reasons for being higher up, Grier being an in-state guy, while Gillins would give them a dual threat QB and expand the read-option game, also always nice to get some Florida connections.

That shows me that Fed and company are starting to instill a sense of home pride in the upcoming classes. NCDT '14 and beyond! Grier will be a Heel(fingers crossed!)!!!!!!!!!

Personally I think we'd take Grier over Gillins because for one he's the top in state at his position and would show the other guy in state that we are trying to get that we mean business and for two I think Grier has the better combo of run/pass skills.

Getting Grier will be HUGE. Beyond being a big time QB prospect, the timing of his commitment and his plan to recruit for his school could significantly help our '14 efforts.
How big will it be to have a player like him out there recruiting other big time recruits during the summer camp circuit to play with him! Hopefully at UNC!
Really hope he decides to be a Tar Heel!

It's just a great day to be a Heel! I'd take either QB, but I like Grier's in-state status. Two great options.

Alot quicker, and definatley more mobile. Renner reminds me of Peyton Manning when he runs LOL. Renner just doesn't have the git up. Grier can move well.
