I've seen Walker in person a time or two and like you said he's a pure cover corner.

Good size at around 5-9/5-10 and solidly built. Smooth and athletic with very good ball skills. Able to play man press and isn't afraid to stick his nose in and support the run.

And honestly, like you mentioned, almost the most impressive thing in that video came @1:22 when he walked down Kedrick Davis (10.4 100) on that KO return. Shows you right there that he can fly.

I hope they lock up on this kid, I definitely see Brian Walker's rating going up.

Also the problem w/ Withers was that they were recruiting like Texas because they were trying to be like Texas in the long run. In the eventual progression of the program under Davis, the plan envisioned they were going to able to recruit their way because they were beginning bringing those NFL type of players when Blake was here. The ultimate problem was that the program hadn't reached that stage where their recruiting methods matched the level of the program. Recruiting like you've won 3 National Championships when you're still in your infant stage won't get you anywhere.

What Fedora is doing is exactly what needs to be done for the program during this new rebuilding period, the second in 5-6 years. He needs to sell instate kids on a winning program and a school that values football as much as the other ACC and SEC schools that prioritize football with enthusiasm. They not only have to believe in Fedora, which is the easy part. They have to also believe in the university administration.
