Battle was a recent standout at UNC's summer camp
Signing Day for the 2013 class is still eight months away but that hasn't stopped the first member of the 2014 class from deciding that he wants to be a Tar Heel.
“UNC is my dream school,” said Tajze Battle, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound cornerback told the Fort Myers News-Press. “I always wanted to go there, so I’m going to jump on it. It’s my dream come true, so I just went ahead.”
Battle earned an offer from the North Carolina coaches after an outstanding performance at UNC's summer camp this past week.
The Fort Myers (Fla.) Dunbar standout finished this past season with over 70 tackles and 20 pass deflections.
