'14 offer flies onto the radar

DeAndre Thompkins has eclipsed 100 rushing yards in six of Swansboro's last seven games.

UNC offered this 6-0, 170-pound in-state athlete with a 4.41 40 time last week. Many more offers are likely to come.

    • Great write up! So they are recruiting him as an athlete? Sounds as if they want him playing some nickel and the A-back? Shame you cant keep guys secret in this day and age. Kid will be great with that speed. I would love to see him at the corner but like him wherever the coach calls for him to be. Hope UNC has staying power as he would be great at A-Back If Berrios has Stars in his eyes as he seems to. Also Him and TJ Logan seem projected as having the same possibilities and abilities but Thompkins has size which can not be taught!
