Tar Heels flip UVa. lineman

UNC has added its desired offensive lineman for the 2013 class.

Brad Henson

Toms River (N.J.) Monsignor Donovan’s Brad Henson (6-5, 290), who had been committed to Virginia, has flipped to the Tar Heels after an official visit this past weekend.

“That’s true, I have committed to UNC,” Henson said.

Henson was one of several committed offensive linemen whom UNC’s staff remained in touch with throughout the fall.

UNC’s staff especially likes Henson’s versatility, as he projects to be able to play tackle, guard or center.

Henson carries an 87 rating from 247Sports as a three-star prospect and ranked as the state of New Jersey’s No. 19 prospect.

CarolinaBlue will have more on Henson’s commitment within the next 24 hours.
