Marcus Paige’s eight overtime points powered UNC to a 72-60 win against Virginia Tech, in which the Tar Heels (15-6, 5-3 ACC) outscored the Hokies 17-5 in overtime.

    • Great to see him get some love for that performance cuz it was dam good! I didn't see the game because of work but the highlights were all Paige and Mac and Paige was killin it! Hopefully this becomes his baseline behavior.

    • I am so tired of watching Heubert start!!!!!!!!!! Roy get your head in the game and start Brice. We get blitzed out of the gate because out of the starting five 3 can actually score. With Brice he adds so much more offensively and has double the rebounds of Desmond. He has proved he deserves to start and this is getting old. Against a good team we would have lost by double digits with the start we had. Paige was a beast and he has been showing really good improvement for the last couple of weeks.

    • I agree, especially if we aren't going to start PJ. Even with putting Brice into the starting line up we still have PJ and Leslie as our scorers off the bench. Time to switch it up. Also Paige looks to finally be coming into his own, good thing for us too because we are heading into the home stretch and need as many of our guys playing at an elite level as we can have. Great to see Jackson Simmons getting steady minutes too because you can't have too much depth with our system. Now if only Joel could start muscling guys around we'd be primed for a tourney run! Go Heels

    • I think Brice is WAY more talented. But he's so frail and doesn't play good defense because of him being scrawny. Desmond drives me nuts on offense, but he does a nice job (generally) on defense. Dex is getting back to Pre-ACL shape. He's a blur in transition

    • I feel like this team has the pieces to become formidable but they have to find an identity...playing great D obviously helps we just need that spark offensively, if Mac and Paige can play like this constantly we will be tough for sure...especially when Leslie gets back to form and PJ is healthy.

    • The more comfortable Paige becomes the better they will get. My guess is starting Brice is impossible because then when him and BigMC are out da game together you would have no inside offense. Roy had to stagger them. I think the team has done well working together to get better under some tough situations. IMO I think they continue growing through the year and never peak which could make for a fun March
